Meet Tim and Jerrah our very popular volunteers of the month.

Tim and Jerrah’s smiling faces are well known around the Co-op. They’ve been volunteering for over two years and their infectious upbeat mood is matched only by their enthusiasm and musical talent. We caught up with the dynamic duo to find out why they love volunteering at the Co-op.
Q: How long have you been volunteering at the Co-op?
Tim & Jerrah: Over 2 years.
Q: What are your favourite aspects of volunteering at the Co-op?
Tim & Jerrah: Watering the plants, customer service, carrying groceries for customers, and acting as a door person during Covid restrictions.
Q: How did you find out about volunteering at the Co-op?
Tim & Jerrah: We saw an ad in the newspaper.
Q: What is your work background?
Tim & Jerrah: Volunteering, Bunnings, Kitchen/office/library at SMB College Missionary.
Q: What have you learnt as a volunteer at the Co-op?
Tim & Jerrah: Organisation skills, cleaning and laundry tasks, and social interaction with customers.
Q: What is your favourite food?
Tim & Jerrah: Peanut butter!
Q: What would you say to someone thinking about volunteering at the Co-op?
Tim & Jerrah: I’d tell them about the shop, that everyone is friendly, the work is doable and to not be shy!
