STORE MANAGER

Blue Mountains Food Co-op was established in 1981 and is Australia’s largest community owned, not-for-profit food co-operative.

We are seeking a highly motivated team player who is passionate about community, the environment, social justice and great food, to manage our two stores in Katoomba.

If you have retail management experience (or you’re ready to step up to a management role), demonstrated clear and warm communication and interpersonal skills, and you yearn to work with a loyal and committed team to further develop an organisation that has been a trusted part of the Blue Mountains community for 40 years, then we’d love to hear from you.

This is a part-time role of around 30 hours per week; job share will be considered for suitable candidates. Days worked will ideally be flexible and include weekends where necessary. Wage will be above award rate and based on the experience of the successful applicant.

EDIBLE GARDEN TRAIL EVENT COMMITTEE — EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Seeking skilled volunteers for our EGT Event Committee

Help us grow the Edible Garden Trail. Volunteer for our event management committee and help coordinate our Edible Garden Trail in the lead-up to and on October 15 & 16, 2022.

Do you have event management or transferable experience? Would you like event management experience? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

EDIBLE GARDEN TRAIL EVENT VOLUNTEERS

We also welcome expressions of interest for general event volunteers for ad-hoc volunteer support leading up to and over the two-days of the Edible Garden Trail, and at our fringe Edible Garden Trail event on the evening of Sunday October 22. No experience is required but do let us know if you have any event management or related/transferable experience. For starters we are looking for promoters (flyer and poster distribution) and ticket-runners. Email your expression of interest to volunteers@bmfoodcoop.org.au.
