Blue Mountains Food Co-op was thrilled to be awarded Blue Mountains City Council’s Sustainability Award at the Local Business Awards on Thursday 17th November.
Susan Ambler (Chair) and Lesley Sammon were at the award ceremony to accept the trophy from Mayor Mark Greenhill and acknowledge the members, staff, volunteers, and supporters who help make the Co-op such a valuable community asset.
Mayor Greenhill congratulated the Co-op commenting on Facebook that we are “a wonderful business that has such a fabulous place in our community!”
We are currently taking part in BMCC’s soft plastic recycling trial and will keep members updated on outcomes.
