Traditional healing
Indigenous healing creams support Central Australian social enterprise.
We now have more of the bush medicine called ‘Aherre-Intenhe’ available in the Co-op Big Little Shop.
It is handmade by Arrernte women in Alice Springs and is used to soothe joints and muscles. The women sustainably wild harvest the leaves and prepare it using knowledge that has been passed down for generations.
Blue Mountains Food Co-op is selling these products to support Arrernte people in sharing and maintaining their cultural and healing practices, while at the same time generating jobs and income for Arrernte people. To read more about the product and the social enterprise it supports click here.
