Supporting stronger communities
To show our respect and deep sympathy for First Nations people on January 26 the Co-op has made a special donation of $500 to Tangentyere Family Violence Prevention Program to support their important work and in memory of R Rubuntja, the 46-year-old woman who founded the grass roots organisation and was murdered in an alleged domestic violence incident in Alice Springs earlier this year.
The Co-op donates 10% of its surplus income each year to charitable organisations, environmental groups, social justice causes and food and regenerative farming related initiatives. Find out more in our annual report.
