Vollie of the Year 2020
Congratulations and a huge THANK YOU! from the Co-op community to Anna Feord who has taken out the Vollie of the Year award for 2020 after clocking up 68 hours of volunteering.
We had a chat to Anna about her time as a vollie and this is what she had to say.
Q: How long have you been volunteering at the Co-op?
Anna: 14 years!
Q: What is your favourite aspect of volunteering at the Co-op?
Anna: Being part of the community of the Co-op, a place that feels ethical and progressive.
Q: How did you find out about volunteering at the Co-op?
Anna: Through shopping here!
Q: What is your work background?
Anna: Yoga, astrology, community services and cleaning.
Q: What is your favourite food?
Anna: Tahini and bananas.
Q: What would you say to someone thinking about volunteering at the Co-op?
Anna: I couldn’t recommend it enough; a life affirming thing to do.
