    Kids at the Co-op

    Learn how to make simple playdough with kitchen ingredients

    Learn about the developmental benefits of playing with playdough (motor skills, cognition, emotional regulation, fussy eating etc)

    Join Fern at the Co-op Wednesday 19th April 10.30am – 12.30pm

    This is a free event conducted by Fern Rodrigues, experienced children’s nutritionist and educator, @eat_play_learn_nutrition

    Playdough Recipe

    4 cups plain wheat flour

    2 cups boiling water

    4 tbsp oil (any)

    food colouring (optional)

    Method: Dilute colouring in boiling water in a heat proof bowl. Add oil. Add flour. Mix and knead until all well combined and smooth. Let it cool completely before playing.

    Note: for sensory play, try adding grains, seeds, herbs, spices, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, sprinkles, flowers, sticks, different food colourings, vegetables/fruit juice for water.
