Celebrating our valuable volunteers
May’s vollie of the month is the bubbly Belinda (pictured above on the left with companion Penelope). Belinda started volunteering at the Co-op about two years ago after her companions introduced her to the role. She enjoys volunteering and has embraced the recent COVID-19 hygiene regime helping customers perfect their hand washing technique.
When Belinda is not volunteering at the Co-op she is a felt artist and amazing cook, as many customers would be aware of from her Co-op soup stall last year.
Belinda says she has learnt some great recycling skills while at the Co-op and would urge others thinking about volunteering to just “do it, bro!”
