    The kudzu plant is a vine originating in the mountains of Japan. Kudzu is the starch obtained from the hardy root of the plant. This wild root has incredible downward energy- it can literally grow through rocks! Its harvest is a very elaborate process making it extremely precious. Kudzu is very alkalising and soothing containing more energy than honey but in a much slower burning form that is easily digested and absorbed. It strengthens and regulates digestion and the intestines.
