LITTLE SHOP NEWS – SUMMER 2017

We have lots of beautiful new products in stock in the Little Shop and some special gift boxed sets for the festive season.

Soaps and Beard Care

New handmade soaps from Soaps By Heather with a festive theme: Frank and Myrtle; Frankincense and Lime; and Goats Milk with Cedar and Mint. From EST, we have gift boxed olive oil soaps.

We also  have a range of festive gift boxes in stock. FromNina’s Bees: the 3 balm gift box, and bath bomb gift Box. From Valour: Beard balm and soap; Beard balm and wooden comb; and Pitstop deodorant, soap and organic castille face and body wash.

Other new beard and shaving products are Nina’s Bees Beard Balm, and Valour’s shaving soap in stainless steel refillable bowl – with soap refills available separately.

Skin Care

We have a choice of three gift packs of beautiful plant-derived skincare products handmade in the Blue Mountains by Paudha Healing: Ultimate Sampler Gift Pack, Man Up Gift Pack, and Cleanse and Nourish Gift Pack.

New from Clémence Organics: Facial scrub, 2 in 1 Face scrub and mask, and Men’s moisturiser. You receive a free red drawstring bag if you buy 2 products or more of Clémence range.

Scents and smudge sticks

New from Perfect Potion: the Gohan ceramic aromatherapy diffuser in black and white with lights; and Shinrin yoku (forest bathing) room spray. New from Native Spirit: Sage and Palo Santo smudge sticks.

Local Ceramics

New in stock from local ceramicist Sian Thomas: cups, egg cups, berry bowls, and sets of three mixing bowls; and ceramic soap dishes with Indian stamps from Jenn Wood.

LocalBotanical Designs

Local textile designers Promenadehave created a range of beautiful hand printed textiles: 100% linen tea towels and zip pouches featuring native botanical screenprints. Continuing the botanical theme, are marble trivets and cheese plates, and stone coasters featuring Rachel Szalay’s stunning botanical illustrations.

Bags and Baskets

We have some new eco friendly and fair trade bag styles in stock: jute bags with  leather handles and string messenger bags from Apple Green Duck, and some lovely new Bolga Basket styles.

We have lots of caravan brooms (good for small kitchens), 3 stringbrooms  and whisks in stock from Tumut Brooms. We have limited stock of the large brooms however, as the millet is imported from Mexico and Tumut Brooms is currently awaiting a big shipment, due to arrive early next year.

Local Flowers 

Floral by Nature are back at the Co-op, with deliveries coming on Wednesday and Friday mornings throughout summer and through to autumn. We also have flowers from local growers Trina Lord, Grace Shanti and Sandra Tyson coming in regularly at the moment.
